Let's get this moving!
Every project starts with an idea. Online or offline, there are many ways to kick off a design process. The important part is making things clear. Depending on the goal, this means a short getting-to-know-each-other meeting, a workshop or a full-on project briefing.
This happens in week one:
After getting an idea of the project scope, we'll talk about the offer, resources and timelines. With an approved budget, I start researching, setting up tools and briefing partners. Then, the design phase begins.
Working together.
Depending on the type of project, we communicate with simple e-mails, online calls or powerful collaboration tools.
Keeping things organized.
Structuring the process helps keeping things easy. The goal is to include you at the right moment with the right questions. A thought-out brief, feedback rounds and transparent communication are ingredients to a successful result.
All about the process.
I learned that the best projects are the ones that are moderated. Allowing more freedom at the beginning, exploring and drafting ideas & concepts. Moving into more and more defined elements towards the end. The key is to set up the best base possible. This way, we remove stress and uncertainty. The work can flow freely with minor adjustments on the way.
